1 Scope
This document defines the terminology and definitions for double-layer supercapacitors, provides classifications, and specifies model and specification series.
This document applies to double-layer supercapacitors (hereinafter referred to as double-layer capacitors). It also applies to pseudocapacitive single-cell supercapacitors and hybrid supercapacitors.
This applies to other types of single-cell supercapacitors, such as single-cell supercapacitors and battery-type single-cell supercapacitors.

3 Terms and Definitions
The terms and definitions defined in SJ/T 11861-2024, as well as the following terms and definitions, apply to this document.
3.1
Supercapacitors primarily store energy through the double-layer capacitance formed at the electrode/electrolyte interface.
3.2
Double-layer capacitors with button-type housings and corresponding pin configurations.
3.3
A double-layer capacitor with a cylindrical housing and corresponding pin configuration.
4.Product Classification, Models, and Specifications
4.1 Product Classification
According to their product shape and structure, double-layer capacitors are mainly divided into button-type double-layer capacitors and cylindrical double-layer capacitors.
Model 4.2
According to SJ/T 11625-2016, the model of a double-layer capacitor consists of four parts. identification, type, rated voltage, and rated capacity.
4.3 Specifications
The specifications of a double-layer capacitor consist of its size and lead configuration.
