Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents". Drafting. This document is modified to adopt ISO 13470.2012 "Design and installation of ductile iron pipe systems for trenchless installation". Compared with ISO 13470.2012, this document has undergone many structural adjustments. A comparison table of the structural numbering changes between the two documents is provided. See Appendix A. This document differs significantly from ISO 13470.2012 in several technical aspects. The relevant clauses are indicated in vertical single-line format on the outer margin. The lines (∣) are marked. A summary of these technical differences and their causes can be found in Appendix B. The following editorial changes have been made to this document. ---To align with existing standards, the standard name has been changed to "Ductile Iron Pipes for Trenchless Laying"; ---The note regarding pressure units has been deleted (see Chapter 1 of ISO 13470.2012); ---The relevant concern regarding the permissible pull force of horizontal directional drilling has been removed (see 6.2.4 of ISO 13470.2012); ---Added a note regarding the socket outer diameter of pipes used in the interlocking (IM) method (see 4.3.3); ---The allowable deflection angle of the pipe interface for the drag-and-pull method is shown in a table (see Table 5, 6.2.5 of ISO 13470.2012); ---Added Appendix D (Informative) "Types of Flanged Pipe Jacking Products".
