1 Scope

This document specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, transportation and storage of turbo compressors used in petroleum refining plants. This document is applicable to single-shaft centrifugal compressors and axial flow compressors in reforming, hydrogenation, catalytic cracking and delayed coking units in petroleum refining.
