3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
pipeline
Pipelines for transporting liquids, gases or powders, cables for transmitting electricity and information, as well as channels and corresponding ancillary facilities.
3.2
Pipeline section
A linear feature formed by the logical connection of two pipeline point features.
3.3
Pipe
Tubular equipment consisting of pipe sections, fittings and supports.
4 Classification and coding
4.1 Classification
4.1.1 Element types are divided into major categories, medium categories, minor categories and subcategories according to their subordinate relationships.
4.1.2 The major elements are divided into two categories, including. long-distance pipelines and urban pipelines.
4.1.3 Elements of the middle category Based on the major categories, long-distance pipelines are divided into five categories according to the transport medium, including. transmission lines, communication lines, oil pipelines,
Pipelines, gas pipelines, water pipelines; urban pipelines are divided into 8 categories, including. power pipelines, communication pipelines, water pipelines, drainage pipelines, gas pipelines
Pipelines, thermal pipelines, industrial pipelines, and integrated pipeline galleries.
4.1.4 The element subcategories and sub-categories are subdivided according to purpose and function based on the classification at the previous level.
4.1.5 The classification of elements shall be carried out in accordance with Appendix A.
4.2 Code Structure
The classification code adopts a 6-digit decimal code and is implemented according to Appendix A. The code structure is shown in Figure 1.
