Electronic code encoding rules for agricultural products
1 Scope
This document establishes the coding principles for electronic codes of agricultural inputs commodities and stipulates requirements such as carrier type, coding structure and storage method.
This document is applicable to the compilation and information application of electronic codes for fertilizers, pesticides, crop seeds and agricultural supplies.
This document does not apply to the compilation and information of electronic codes for agricultural products such as agricultural films, feed and feed additives, veterinary drugs, agricultural machinery and accessories, etc.

3 Terms and definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 12905 and the following apply to this document.

Material inputs required for agricultural production.
Note. The abbreviation of agricultural production materials. Usually includes fertilizers, pesticides, agricultural films, seeds, feed and feed additives, veterinary drugs, agricultural machinery and accessories, etc.

The unique identification code of agricultural products is stored in the form of electronic code in data carriers such as one-dimensional code, two-dimensional code, RFID, etc.
Note. According to the different links in the supply chain where agricultural materials are located, there are agricultural materials trading commodity codes, agricultural materials logistics unit codes and agricultural materials initial product codes.
