1 Scope

This document specifies the classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, transportation and Storage. This document is applicable to single-axis centrifugal compressors such as cracking gas compressors, propylene compressors, ethylene compressors or multi-component refrigeration compressors for ethylene plants. The production and manufacturing of compressors (referred to as "compressors"). This document is not applicable to axial flow compressors and integrally geared compressors.
