1 Scope

This standard specifies the method for measuring the tackiness of water-based adhesives. This standard applies to the determination of the tackiness of water-based adhesives. It is also suitable for the determination of the tackiness of solvent-based adhesives.

4 Principle

The maximum value of the force when the sizing surface of the two adhesive test pieces is separated after light force and short-term contact within the operating time of the adhesive. It is the tackiness of the adhesive.

5 Test equipment and instruments

5.1 Touch adhesion tester The range is 0N~100N, the force value error is not more than 1%, and the gripper separation speed is (100±10) mm/min. 5.2 Fixture 5.2.1 The upper and lower clamps (see Figure 1) have flat surfaces and good clamping performance. The specimen does not slide after clamping. 5.2.2 The upper fixture consists of an inner core and an outer jacket, with a total mass of (200 ± 1) g. The inner core is cylindrical with a diameter D=(20±0.5)mm. The outer shell has a semicircular ring shape, and the inner diameter is matched with the thickness of the test material used, with a length (30 ± 3) mm and a width (20 ± 2) mm in the middle. The window is used to expose the sample. 5.2.3 The lower clamp is rectangular, with a length of (100±1)mm and a width of (20±0.1)mm, fixed on the tensile machine. The size of the outer shell is compatible with the inner core, and there is a window with a length of 15mm~20mm in the middle for exposing the sample. ......
