This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents".

This document replaces GB/T 33855-2017 "General Requirements for Maternal and Infant Health Care Service Premises". Compared with GB/T 33855-2017, except for the conclusion...
Aside from structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
a) The definitions of maternal and child health care services and maternal and child health care service locations have been revised (see 3.1, 3.9, and 3.1 and 3.2 in the.2017 version), adding the term "maternal and child health care services".
Infant health care service institutions, pre-pregnancy health care services, prenatal health care services, post-abortion health care services, postpartum health care services, infant and toddler health care
Terms and definitions for services, managed healthcare services, maternal and child healthcare service personnel, and maternal and child healthcare service supplies and equipment (see 3.2~).
Articles 3.8, 3.10, and 3.11 have removed the terms and definitions for non-conforming services and inspections (see articles 3.3 and 3.4 in the.2017 edition).
b) The classification of skilled personnel by profession and level has been removed (see 4.2 in the.2017 version);
c) The basic requirements have been changed (see Chapter 4, Chapter 5, 8.3, and Chapter 10 of the.2017 edition);
d) Changes to practitioners (see Chapter 5, Chapter 7 in the.2017 edition);
e) Service locations have been changed (see Chapter 6, 6.1 and 6.3 in the.2017 edition);
f) Changes were made to supplies and equipment (see Chapter 7, 6.2 of the.2017 edition);
g) Service etiquette has been removed (see 8.1 in the.2017 edition);
h) The services provided and those not provided have been changed (see 8.1, 8.2, and 4.1 in the.2017 version);
i) Service procedures and requirements have been changed (see Chapter 9, Section 8.2 and Chapter 9 of the.2017 edition);
j) Service evaluation and improvement have been revised (see Chapter 10, and Chapters 11, 12 and 13 of the.2017 edition).

3 Terms and Definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 30443 and GB/T 30444, as well as the following terms and definitions, apply to this document.
3.1
Healthcare services provided for women preparing for pregnancy, during pregnancy, postpartum, and for infants and young children.
3.2
Market entities that are legally registered and established to provide maternal and infant health care services (3.1).
Note. This includes pre-pregnancy care centers, postpartum care centers (clubs), maternal and infant care centers, postpartum recovery centers, prenatal yoga centers, infant swimming pools, etc.
