3 Classification, structural type and main dimensions and marking
3.1 Classification
Watertight doors are divided into the following two types.
a) R type - right open watertight door (from the person standing outside, hinge on the right);
b) L-type - left open watertight door (from the person standing outside, hinge on the left).
3.2 Typical structure and main dimensions of watertight doors
The typical structure of the watertight door and the main dimensions are shown in Figure 1 and Table 1.
