3 terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Starch dopant starchesadulterant
Blended into the rosin and not part of the starchy starch ingredients such as tapioca flour, tapioca starch and other plant starch.
4 principle
Starch components combine with iodine to form blue, purple or brown-red complexes, and qualitative discrimination by visual observation.
5 test method
5.1 Reagents and Solutions
5.1.1 In this chapter, unless otherwise stated, the titration solutions, preparations and articles used are prepared in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 601 and GB/T 603.
Reagents are analytical reagents, test water should be consistent with GB/T 6682 in the three water regulations.
5.1.2 turpentine. in line with GB/T 12901 turpentine (excellent grade) requirements.
5.1.3 saturated aqueous sodium chloride solution.
5.1.4 0.3% iodine - potassium iodide solution. Weigh 0.3g iodine and 0.6g potassium iodide, add a small amount of water dissolved and then add water to 100mL full shake
Evenly, into the brown bottle and placed in the dark to save the spare.
5.2 Instruments and equipment
