This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents".

This document replaces GB/T 31831-2015 "Technical Requirements for LED Indoor Lighting Applications". Compared with GB/T 31831-2015, except for the structure...
Aside from structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
a) The definition of LED light source has been changed (see 3.1,.2015 version 3.1);
b) Added definitions for LED lights, LED luminaires, flicker index, and flicker effect visibility (see Chapter 3);
c) Added requirements for carbon footprint accounting of LED lights and LED lighting fixtures (see 4.4);
d) The specification classification of LED lights and LED luminaires has been changed (see Chapter 5, Chapter 5 of the.2015 edition);
e) Added a specification classification for LED driver power supplies (see 5.3);
f) The performance requirements for LED lights and LED luminaires have been changed (see Chapter 6, Chapter 6 of the.2015 edition);
g) Increased requirements for flicker index and flicker effect visibility of LED lights and LED luminaires (see 6.1.4);
h) Increased requirements for the colorimetric performance of multi-channel luminaires (see 6.1.12);
i) Increased performance requirements for LED driver power supplies (see 6.4);
j) Increased requirements for the color performance of LED luminaires used in elderly care facilities (see A.2);
k) Increased the requirements for the light color performance of LED luminaires used for lighting fresh agricultural products (see A.4.6);

3 Terms and Definitions
The terms and definitions defined in JGJ/T 119 and the following terms and definitions apply to this document.

LED light source
Electric light source based on LED technology.
3.2
LED lights LED lamp
An LED light source with a lamp holder, which combines one or more LED modules and a matching driver power supply.
3.3
LED lighting fixtures
A luminaire that combines one or more LED light sources and a matching driver power supply.
3.4
LED driver power supply
A device placed between the power supply terminal and one or more LED modules to provide rated voltage or rated current to the LED modules.
