1 Scope
This standard specifies the survival craft and rescue boats lights (referred craft lamp) classification and marking requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking,
Packaging, transport and storage.
This standard applies to ships and offshore facilities of survival craft and rescue boats craft lamp with external position indicator lamp (referred to external light) and the inner
Lighting unit (referred to as the internal lamp) the design, manufacture and acceptance.
2 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
2.1

3 Classification and Marking
3.1 Classification
Craft lamp according to the type of energy used and the light emission can be divided into the following six kinds of patterns.
a) GDD --- dry-type fixed light craft lights;
b) GDS --- dry-type craft lights flash;
c) SDD --- seawater battery light given type craft lights;
d) SDS --- sea craft type battery flash lights;
e) WDD --- without battery fixed light type craft lamp (connected to survival craft and rescue boats on power);
f) WDS --- no battery flash type craft lamp (connected to survival craft and rescue boats on the power supply).
Note. The batteries including lithium batteries, carbon batteries, alkaline batteries.
