1 Scope

This document specifies the product classification, requirements, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of polyvinyl alcohol coated films, and describes the testing... method. This document applies to biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) film, biaxially oriented polyester (BOPET) film, and biaxially oriented polyamide film. Using BOPA film, biaxially oriented polyethylene (BOPE) film, and cast polypropylene (CPP) film as substrates, polyvinyl alcohol is applied as a coating. The resulting film is produced, inspected, and sold.
