Introduction
The data product specification is a detailed description of the dataset or dataset series and other information that applies to the dataset or dataset series.
Production, supply and other parties. The data product specification is an accurate technical description of the data product that will meet or may meet the requirements, but
It only states that the dataset should meet the requirements. For various reasons, a compromise may be required during the execution. With the product data set
The metadata should reflect the actual status of the product dataset.
Data product specifications may be developed and used by different parties, on different occasions, for different reasons. For example, the specification may be used
The process of data acquisition may also be used to derive products from existing data. Producers may use it to regulate their own products, users can also
Can use it to state the request.
The purpose of this standard is to provide practical assistance in compiling data product specifications that conform to other existing geographic information standards. Its goal is
Provide complete content for regulating data products.
This standard refers to some of the existing standards, for the definition of data products can also be part of the content of the data set of data
use.
For data product specifications, it is only necessary to standardize the final data product without having to describe the product production process in detail. However,
If necessary, specifications can also contain data production and maintenance aspects of the content.
This standard describes the contents and structure of the data product specification. Appendix F and Appendix G give examples of two data product specifications.
When an item of the data product specification has been defined in other ISO or related national standards of the ISO 19100 series, this
The standard specifies the reference to the document.
This standard will be provided to producers, providers and potential users of data products.
Geographic Information Data Product Specification
1 Scope
This standard describes the requirements of the Geographic Data Product Specification on the basis of the ISO 19100 series of international standards and related national standards.
This standard provides assistance in the preparation of data product specifications, making product specifications easy to understand and achieving the intended purpose.
2 consistency
Any data product specification that is consistent with this standard shall meet the requirements of Appendix A abstract test suite.
