Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces GB/T 23518-2009 "Palladium Carbon". Compared with GB/T 23518-2009, the main technical changes are as follows.
--- Increase the types of carrier carbon materials. carbon black, mesoporous carbon, carbon nanotubes, carbon molecular sieves (see Chapter 3, 5.3);
--- Delete the requirements for ash content in the original standard (see 4.4 and 5.3 of the.2009 edition);
--- Increased the requirements of palladium-carbon catalytic performance (see 5.3, 6.2);
---During the moisture content test, the drying temperature is changed from 70℃±5℃ to 105℃±5℃, and the moisture content can also be measured by a moisture analyzer

1 Scope
This standard specifies the classification and marking, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation, storage, quality certification of palladium carbon
The contents of the specification and purchase order (or contract).
This standard applies to palladium carbon used in fine chemicals, pharmaceuticals and other hydrogenation reduction processes.

Palladium on carboncatalyst
A mixture of palladium evenly distributed on the surface of carbon materials.
Note. Carbon materials include activated carbon, carbon black, mesoporous carbon, carbon nanotubes, and carbon molecular sieves.
4 Classification and marking
According to the mass fraction of palladium in the product and the type of carbon.
Marking. mass fraction (%)-Pd/C- carbon type
Example.
The mass fraction of Pd (%) is 3%, and the carrier is palladium carbon with activated carbon, which is marked as.
3%-Pd/C-activated carbon.
5 Technical requirements
5.1 Chemical composition
After the product is dried at 105℃±5℃ until constant weight (dry basis), the chemical composition should meet the requirements of Table 1.
