State Administration for Market Regulation
The State Administration for Standardization issued a statement.
Foreword
This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents".
Drafting.
This document supersedes GB/T 22236-2008 "Testing of Plastics - Crushing of Plastic Products for Testing", and is consistent with GB/T 22236-2008.
Compared to previous versions, aside from structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
a) The types of "pre-crushing equipment" (see 4.1.3) and "final crushing equipment" (see 4.2.2, 4.2.4) have been added;
b) The categories for "Pre-grinding equipment" (see 4.1, 4.2 in the.2008 edition) and "Final grinding equipment" (see 4.2, 4.3 in the.2008 edition) have been changed.
Differentiation, composition, and form of expression;
c) Change "Procedure" to "Crushing and Sample Preparation" (see Chapter 6, Chapter 5 of the.2008 edition), and modify the relevant content such as "Summary" before including it.
The section on "Pulverization and Sample Preparation" (see Chapter 6, 4.1 and 4.3.1 in the.2008 edition) has been revised, changing the selection of pulverization and sample preparation equipment and the final pulverization equipment.
The conditions (see 6.1, Chapter 5 of the.2008 edition) are incorporated by revising the "Preparation" chapter of the.2008 edition (see 6.2, 6.3).
Chapter 3 of the.2008 edition added content on the control of operating conditions (see 6.4);
d) A new chapter on "Sample Preservation" has been added (see Chapter 7);
e) Added "Accessories Used", "Grinding Amount", "Grinding Duration or Grinding Speed", "Grinding Parameters", and "Preparer" to the "Records" section.
(See Chapter 8).

The release history of this document and the document it replaces is as follows.
---First published in.2008 as GB/T 22236-2008;
---This is the first revision.
Testing of plastics; crushing of plastic products for testing
Warning. During the pulverization and sample preparation process, the equipment must meet electrostatic protection requirements. Precautions should be taken to prevent accidents (such as injury, explosion, toxic dust, noise).
The occurrence of sounds, etc.
1 Scope
This document establishes the pulverization process for plastic products used in testing, specifying the equipment used for pulverization and sample preparation, sampling, pulverization and sample preparation, and sample preservation.
Requirements for the recorded content.
This document applies to the preparation of crushed samples of plastic products for testing.
2 Normative references
This document has no normative references.
3 Terms and Definitions
This document does not contain any terms or definitions that need to be defined.
4 Equipment
4.1 Pre-crushing equipment
4.1.1 Manual grinding tools, such as knives, scissors, saws, grinding bowls, etc.
Note. Flat files are suitable for processing semi-finished and finished parts of thermosetting plastics.
4.1.2 Electric crushing tools, such as mills, milling machines, drilling machines, lathes, band saws, circular saws, etc.
Note. These devices are used to crush parts of a sample, but not to crush the entire sample.
4.1.3 Crusher, such as a cutting crusher (blade granulator).
Note. The pulverizer can pulverize the entire sample.
4.2 Final crushing equipment
4.2.1 Cross hammer mills, such as cross hammer mills with closed grinding chambers and cross hammer mills with open grinding chambers, see Appendix A.
The content of A.1.
4.2.2 Cutting pulverizers, such as cutting pulverizers with open grinding chambers, see A.2.
4.2.3 Rotary hammer mills, such as ultracentrifugal mills (rotary mills with open grinding chambers), see A.3.
4.2.4 Ball crushers, such as vibratory crushers (ball crushers with closed grinding chambers), see A.4.
4.2.5 Microtome, see A.5.
5.Sampling
5.1 Take a sample from the tested plastic article that represents the average characteristics of the finished product.
5.2 If the tested plastic product contains visible differences in its components, the areas containing the different components should be separated as much as possible before crushing, and then samples should be taken separately.
