This standard is identical with JIS Z7251..2006 "GHS-based chemical labeling" (Japanese version).
For your convenience, the following editorial changes were made.
a) delete the original standard title and foreword;
b) delete the original standard preamble;
c) Use the punctuation "," instead of the symbol in the original standard "•"
d) punctuation "," instead of the original standard "," said the comma.
Appendix A of this standard is normative appendix.

GHS-based chemical labeling specification
1 Scope
This standard specifies the label elements (symbols, warnings, hazard statements, etc.) based on the type and level of GHS hazard of the chemical substance.
This standard applies to GHS-based chemical labeling regulations.
2 Normative references
The terms of the following documents, through the reference to the standard become the terms of this standard. All dated references, which are subsequently owned

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
3.1
Potential causes of harm.
3.2
Chemical elements and their compounds that exist naturally or by synthesis or the like.
3.3
A mixture of two or more chemicals (including solutions).
3.4
Chemical substance or mixture.
Note. "chemical substances" can be understood as "chemicals" or "products" synonymous.

4 General Matters
A label on the record of a chemical substances and other information.
Note. If the object is a mixture, not a label for each component, you can make a label on the mixture.
5 The order in which the necessary information and content on the label appear
5.1 The necessary information on the label
The necessary information on the label is as follows.
a) a pictogram that indicates a hazard;
b) warnings
c) Hazard statements;
d) Precautions;
e) product name
f) Manufacturer/supplier.
5.2 Labeling the order of representation
According to the GHS classification results relative to a hazard category and grade, the use of the corresponding pictograms, warnings, harmful to say

The standard pictograms used in the GHS are shown in Tables 1 to 3 below. Pictograms on labels can not be used with standard icons in GHS

The pictograms used in the labels are. a black symbol on a rhombus (square) white background and a bold red line on the white background

b) Warnings
The so-called warning is the relative degree that indicates the severity of the hazard, warning the user of potentially harmful words. GHS
The warnings used are Dangerous Danger and Warning Warning. "Danger" is used for more serious hazard levels,
"Warnings" are intended for less harmful levels and are not subject to warnings even at a lower risk. Corresponds to GHS levels
Hazard warnings are shown in Appendix A.
c) Hazard statements
Hazard statements correspond to the various hazard and grade standards and indicate the nature and extent of the product's hazard. With GHS

d) Precautions
