1 Scope

This document specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, markings, packaging and storage of non-asbestos fiber reinforced rubber gasket materials for ships. This document is applicable to gas, water, steam, oil, medium acid and alkali with working temperature not higher than 350℃ and nominal pressure not higher than 4.0MPa Design, manufacture and acceptance of non-asbestos gasket materials for sealing of ship piping systems with other media.
