DOC reduction test
1 Scope
This standard specifies the chemical fast biodegradable DOC reduction test method overview, test preparation, test procedures, quality assurance
With quality control, data and reporting.
This standard applies to the test non-volatile, water solubility of not less than 100mg/L fast biodegradability of chemicals.
2 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
2.1
The biodegradability of the test substance in contact with the inoculum within a defined period of time.
2.2
The biological activity of the test substance changes in the chemical structure of the process of loss of characteristics.
2.3
The content of organic carbon in the solution, often refers to the organic carbon content in the liquid filtered through a 0.45 μm membrane filter, or by 4000r/min speed
The content of organic carbon in the supernatant after centrifugation for 15 minutes.
2.4
The test began until the degradation rate of 10% of the period.
2.5
10d biodegradation rate of 10% after the test time.
2.6
The period from the end of stasis until the degradation rate reached 90% of the maximum degradation rate.
