This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1.Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents" Drafting is required. 1 Scope

This document specifies requirements for the design, materials, construction, installation, and testing of permanently installed fuel systems for internal combustion engines. This document applies to permanently installed diesel and gasoline systems, as well as fuel fill ports, on inboard and outboard motor powered boats. All parts connected to the propulsion or auxiliary engines. The design and testing requirements for gasoline and diesel fuel tanks permanently installed on small craft for internal combustion engines are detailed in ISO 21487.2022.
