1 Scope

4 Reagents and materials

Unless otherwise specified, only reagents identified as analytically pure and distilled or deionized water or rather pure water are used in the assay. 4.1 Wetting agents. Octylphenoxypolyethoxyethanol nonionic surfactant, 100% strength, should not be diluted. Note Wetting agents can also use 20g/L sodium lauryl sulfate solution. 4.2 sodium hydroxide solution .1mol/L. Weigh sodium hydroxide 40g, dissolved in water and diluted to 1000mL. 4.3 filter paper. Qualitative medium-speed filter paper.
