1 Scope

This document specifies the accuracy class 2 and 3 for newly manufactured devices for measuring AC reactive energy in 50Hz or 60Hz grids. Type test requirements and test methods for static reactive energy meters (hereinafter referred to as "instruments"). For objective reasons, this document is based on the traditional definition of reactive energy containing only sinusoidal currents and voltages at fundamental frequencies. Note 1.Other general requirements for instruments, such as safety, reliability, etc., see GB/T 17215.231 and GB/T 17215.9 (all parts). This document applies to the following electrical energy measuring equipment. ---Measure and control the reactive energy in the grid (power supply) with AC voltage of 600V and below. Note 2.For AC watt-hour meters, the above-mentioned voltage is the voltage of the line-to-neutral line derived from the nominal voltage, see Table 7 of GB/T 17215.231-2021. --- Except for the indicator display, all functional units, including additional modules, are encapsulated in a watch case or form a separate watch case; --- Use an integrated or separate indicator display, or not use an indicator display; ---Installed on the specified supporting socket or rack; ---It can choose to provide other functions besides electric energy measurement. Instruments designed for use with low-power instrument transformers (LPIT, defined in the GB/T 20840 series of standards) are only available in These instruments are considered to comply with this document when they are tested together with their LPIT and meet the requirements for direct access instruments. Note 3.Modern watt-hour meters usually include additional functions, such as functions for measuring voltage amplitude, current amplitude, power, frequency, power factor, etc.; power quality parameter measurement The function of quantity; the control function of load; the function of transmission, timing, test, settlement and recording; the function of data communication interface and related data security. delete this document Relevant standards may apply to these functional requirements. However, these functional requirements are outside the scope of this document. Note 4.The product requirements and measurement functions (such as voltage amplitude, current amplitude, power, frequency, etc.) of power metering and monitoring devices (PMD) have been specified in Covered in GB/T 18216.12.However, equipment complying with GB/T 18216.12 cannot be used as charging meters unless they also comply with IEC 62052- 11.2020 and meet the requirements of one or more relevant GB/T 17215.3 series standards on accuracy levels. Note 5.The product requirements for power quality testing equipment (PQI) have been covered in GB/T 39853.1.The requirements for power quality measurement technology (function) have been established in Covered in IEC 61000-4-30.The test requirements for power quality measurement functions have been covered in GB/T 39853.2.
