1 Scope
This document specifies a coding system for identifying the following elements of any small craft.
---Manufacturer's country identification code;
---Manufacturer identification code;
---Serial number;
---Month and year of manufacturing;
---Model year.
This document applies to small craft of all types and materials with a hull length LH not exceeding 24m.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
