This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces GB/T 15779-2006 "peeling veneer logs." This standard compared with GB/T 15779-2006, the main technology
The changes are as follows.
--- Modify the scope (see Chapter 1);
--- Modify the normative references (see Chapter 2);
--- Added terms and definitions (see Chapter 3);
--- Modify the tree species, the common tree species increased (see 4.1);
--- Relaxed inspection of the allowable limit diameter (see 4.2.2);
--- Relaxed any 1m material within a long range of live, dead section number (see Table 1);
--- Strict heartwood decadent, pumping heart allowable limit (see Table 1);
--- Stronger any 1m material within a long range allowed number of insect holes (see Table 1);
--- Tightened longitudinal crack, the outer limit of the skin (see Table 1);
--- Strict material length 4m below the allowable limit of bending (see Table 1);
--- Strengthened partial dry, the allowable limit of trauma (see Table 1).

1 Scope
This standard specifies the rotary veneer with the terms and definitions of wood, requirements, sampling methods, test methods, volume calculation and product signs.
This standard applies to the production of plywood, veneer lumber and other purposes rotary veneer logs.
