Introduction
The various parts of GB (GB/T) 6675 "Toy Safety" and GB/T 19865 "Safety of Electric Toys" together constitute the toy safety standard system.
Toys that meet these document requirements will reduce the proportion of toys used in their intended manner (normal use) and used in unintended manner (foreseeable).

GB (GB/T) 6675 "Toy Safety" is divided into basic specifications, general requirements, and specific requirements, and is proposed to consist of the following parts.
---Part 1.Basic Standards. The purpose is to standardize the basic safety requirements for toy products.
---Part 2.Mechanical and Physical Properties. The purpose is to standardize the general requirements for the mechanical and physical properties of toy products.
---Part 3.Flammability. The purpose is to standardize the general requirements for the flammability of toy products.
---Part 4.Migration of Specific Elements. The purpose is to standardize general requirements for migratable elements in toy products.
---Part 9.Experimental toys for chemical and similar activities. The purpose is to regulate specific requirements for this type of toy product.
---Part 10.Olfactory play toys, cosmetic sets, and gustatory play toys. The aim is to regulate these types of toy products.

1 Scope
This document specifies the requirements and testing for household indoor and outdoor play toys intended for children under 14 years of age to play on or inside.

This document applies to swings, slides, seesaws, carousels, rocking toys, and climbing structures that are typically designed to support the weight of one or more children.
Swings, toddler swing seats, and other similar activity toys.
This document does not apply to the following products.
a) Fitness and exercise equipment, unless it is connected to active toys;
b) Reservations for equipment used in schools, daycare centers, kindergartens, public playgrounds, restaurants, shopping centers, and similar public places;
c) Baby care products, such as (but not limited to) baby swings, playpens/fences, beds, or furniture including picnic tables, cradles, and special baby care products.
Products designed for therapeutic purposes;
d) A swimming pool where the maximum depth measured between the water level and the deepest point in the pool during overflow exceeds 400 mm.
Inflatable toys are included within the scope of this document. However, the electric blower used for continuous inflation of toys must meet the requirements of GB/T 4706.27.
The required household appliances are not included in the scope of this document.

3 Terms and Definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB 6675.2 and the following terms and definitions apply to this document.

Activity Toys
Designed for family use, it can support the weight of one or more children while they are engaged in activities such as climbing, swinging, sliding, rocking, spinning, and jumping.
A toy whose supporting structure can remain stable when activities such as jumping, crawling, creeping, undulating, and paddling, or multiple activities, are performed simultaneously.
Examples. swings, slides, carousels, climbing frames, rigid playhouses, and wading pools, etc. (see Figure 1).
Note. This definition does not include water toys, non-inflatable trampolines, etc.
