Announcement of Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People’s Republic of China No. 607 Announcement on Publishing the National Standard “ Code for Acceptance of Construction Quality of Building Ground" "Code for Acceptance of Construction Quality of Building Ground" has been approved as a national standard with a serial number of GB 50209-2010 and it shall be implemented on December 1, 2010. Therein, Articles 3.0.3, 3.0.5, 3.0.18, 4.9.3, 4.10.11, 4.10.13 and 5.7.4 hereof are compulsory provisions and must be enforced strictly. The standard “ Code for Acceptance of Construction Quality of Building Ground”(GB 50209 - 2002) shall be abolished simultaneously. Authorized by the Standard Rating Research Institute, this code is published and distributed by China Planning Press. Foreword
According to the requirements of “ Notice on Printing the Development and Revision Plan of National Engineering Construction Standards in 2008 (First)” (Jian Biao [2008] No. 1 02) issued by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, this code is revised or 1 the basis of 2002)by Jiangsu Provincial Constr‘uction Group Co. ’ Ltd., Jiangsu H叫ian Construction Co., Ltd. and relevant organizations. In the process of revision, the development group has developed monographic study, carried out comprehensive investigation, summarized long-term experiences in building ground engineering materials and construction, taken advices from reJevant organizations throughout the country in various ways, repeatedly revised the major problems, finally reviewed as well as finalized a manuscript. This code comprises of 8 chapters and 1 appendix including general provisions, terms, basic requirement, base course laying, integral layer laying, board surface laying, timber flooring surface and bamboo floori吨 surface laying, and part project (sub-project) acceptance. The provisions printed in bold type are compulsory ones and must be enforced strictly. Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development is in charge of the administration of this code and the explanation of compulsory provisions; Department of Housing and Urban- Rural Development of Jiangsu Province is responsible for the daily management; Jiangsu Provincial Construction Group Co., Ltd. is responsible for the explanation of specific technical contents.
