1 Scope

This document specifies the limit level, technical requirements, statistical scope and calculation of formaldehyde unit product energy consumption (hereinafter referred to as "energy consumption") method. This document is applicable to the calculation, control and assessment of energy consumption of formaldehyde produced by silver method and iron-molybdenum method with methanol as raw material, as well as the energy consumption of new projects. Energy consumption control of projects such as renovation and expansion projects.

3 Terms and Definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 2589 and GB/T 12723 and the following apply to this document. 3.1 The process of producing formaldehyde products by air oxidation of methanol using silver as catalyst. 3.2 The process of producing formaldehyde products by air oxidation of methanol using iron and molybdenum as catalysts. 3.3 During the statistical reporting period, the sum of various energies input into the formally put-into-production formaldehyde production area minus the sum of various energies output. Note.
