1 Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, identification and product information of protective gloves for ionizing radiation and radioactive pollutants.
This standard applies to gloves that protect the wearer's hands from ionizing radiation and radioactive pollutants in the work area.
Gloves for permanently sealed boxes, and intermediate sleeves between gloves and permanently sealed boxes.
This standard does not apply to medical radiation protective gloves.
