This Standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009. This Standard replaces GB/T 3328-1997 “Furniture - Main sizes of beds”. Compared with GB/T 3328-1997, the main technical changes are as follows. - modified the scope (see Clause 1 of this Edition, Clause 1 of Edition 1997); - deleted the definition of bed top, and added the definition of bed base (see 2.1 of this Edition, 2.1.1 of Edition 1997); - modified the main size diagrams of single beds and bunk beds (see 4.1 of this Edition, 3.1 of Edition 1997); - modified the base length of single bed as. 1900mm ~ 2220mm for inlay mattress, 1900mm ~ 2200mm for non-inlay mattress (see 4.1 of this Edition, 3.1 of Edition 1997); - modified the base width of single bed as 700mm ~ 1200mm, the base width of bunk bed as 1350mm ~ 2000mm, deleted the bed base height range when laying mattress, modified the bed base height range when not laying mattress as. ≤450mm (see 4.1 of this Edition, 3.1 of Edition 1997); - modified the base length of bunk bed as 1900mm ~ 2020mm, the base width of bunk bed as 800mm ~ 1520mm (see 4.2 of this Edition, 3.2 of Edition 1997); - added note in table “When there are special requirements or contract requirements, all sizes are clearly stated in the contract by the supplier and the purchaser, and are not subject to this limitation” (see 4.2 of this Edition, 3.2 of Edition 1997). This Standard was proposed by China Light Industry Federation.
