Introduction
The seismic waveform data channel identifier is used to identify the seismic waveform data and instrument status information produced by the observation instruments of the seismic monitoring station.
At present, the identification code of seismic waveform data channel of my country's seismic network is based on the appendix of DB/T 2-2003 "Seismic Waveform Data Exchange Format".
It is designed in accordance with the relevant provisions of Record A. With the rapid development of earthquake monitoring business in my country, especially the National Earthquake Intensity Rapid Report and Early Warning Project
To implement the purpose, the number of earthquake monitoring stations has increased significantly and involves a variety of observation instruments, tens of thousands of seismic, strong vibration, intensity and global navigation satellites
The data from the monitoring stations of the system (GNSS) will be fused in the seismic network data processing system. The original channel identification code can no longer be full.
enough demand.
In order to achieve the goal of "multi-network integration, one network for multiple purposes", standardize the various channels of seismic, strong vibration, intensity and global navigation satellite system monitoring stations.
Waveform data identification, the development of this document.
Seismic Waveform Data Channel Identification
1 Scope
This document specifies the seismic waveform data channel codes and channel identification codes.
This document applies to seismic stations, strong vibration stations, earthquake intensity rapid reporting and early warning stations, and Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) datums
Collection, management, processing and sharing of seismic waveform data from stations.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
channel
The seismic signal is the digitized record output obtained after passing through the field monitoring station observation instrument and a set of specific filters.
[Source. DB/T 2-2003, 2.5.1, with modifications]
3.2
locationcode
A code that identifies the location of the observation instrument to distinguish different data from multiple sensors under the same station.
3.3
A code identifying the network, monitoring station, instrument location, and channel that produces seismic waveform data.
4 channel code
4.1 Observation data channel code
4.1.1 Code Structure
The observation data channel code consists of 3 uppercase Latin letters or Arabic numerals. From left to right, the 1st digit is the instrument band code, from
1 uppercase Latin letter; the 2nd digit is the instrument type code, which is represented by 1 uppercase Latin letter; the 3rd digit is the orientation code, which is represented by 1 digit
Uppercase Latin letters or Arabic numerals. The code structure is shown in Figure 1.
