O-Isopropyl-N-ethyl thionocarbamate
1 Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking,
packaging, transportation, storage, quality certificate and order form (or contract)
content of O-Isopropyl-N-ethyl thionocarbamate.
This standard applies to O-Isopropyl-N-ethyl thionocarbamate flotation reagents, which
are synthesized from isopropyl xanthate, monochloroacetic acid, sodium carbonate,
monoethylamine as raw materials.

3 Requirements
3.1 Designation, chemical formula, structural formula, relative molecular mass,
chemical name
The designation, chemical formula, structural formula, relative molecular mass,
chemical name of O-Isopropyl-N-ethyl thionocarbamate shall comply with the
5.1.1 The product shall be inspected by the supplier's quality supervision department,
to ensure that the product quality meets the requirements of this standard or the order
form (or contract); meanwhile a quality certificate shall be filled out.
5.1.2 If necessary, the purchaser may inspect the received products, in accordance with
the provisions of this standard. If the inspection results are inconsistent with the
provisions of this standard or the order form (or contract), it shall be reported to the
supplier, within 15 days from the date of receipt of the product, to be settled through
negotiation between the supplier and the purchaser. If arbitration is required, arbitration
sampling shall be carried out, jointly by both the supplier and the purchaser.
5.2 Group-batching
O-Isopropyl-N-ethyl thionocarbamate shall be submitted for acceptance in batches;
each batch shall be composed of products of the same grade and appearance quality.
5.3 Inspection items
Each batch of products shall be inspected for chemical composition, physical
requirements, appearance quality.
5.4 Sampling methods
The sampling method of O-Isopropyl-N-ethyl thionocarbamate shall be carried out, in
accordance with the provisions of GB/T 6680. The number of product sampling units
shall be carried out, in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 6678. The total amount
of sampling shall meet the needs of inspection.
Divide the sample into two sets, each set has a sample volume of not less than 300 mL.
Put them into clean and dry glass bottles with ground stoppers, respectively. Attach
label, indicating the specimen name, batch number, sampling date. One bottle is for
inspection AND the other bottle is kept for future reference.
5.5 Judgment of inspection results
5.5.1 If the chemical composition, physical requirements, appearance quality inspection
results are inconsistent with this standard or the order form (or contract), it shall double
the amount of samples, from the same batch of products for repeated test. If only one
of the repeated test results does not comply with the requirements of this standard, the
whole batch of products will be deemed unqualified. Digital rounding is performed, in
accordance with GB/T 8170.
5.5.2 If the products received by the purchaser are damaged, due to transportation or
storage, the departments involved shall be responsible.
6 Marking, packaging, transportation, storage, quality
certificates
6.1 Marking
Each packaging container shall be marked with a color, that is not easy to fall off:
a) Supplier’s name and address;
b) Product name;
c) Product batch number and net weight;
d) This standard number;
e) The words “Avoid sun exposure”, “Avoid fire”, “Do not reverse”;
f) Date of exit-factory (or date of packaging).
6.2 Packaging
6.2.1 Plastic barrel packaging
The product is available in 200 L closed plastic barrels, with a net product weight of
200 kg ± 0.5 kg per barrel; or IBC plastic square barrels, with a net product weight of
800 kg ~ 1000 kg per barrel. Plastic barrels used for domestic products shall comply
with the provisions of GB/T 13508; plastic barrels used for export products shall
comply with the provisions of GB/T 13508 and SN/T 0271, meanwhile it shall be
accompanied by valid inspection and quarantine results certificates.
6.2.2 If the purchaser has special requirements for packaging containers, they can be
negotiated and agreed upon by both the supplier and the purchaser, and noted in the
contract.
6.3 Transportation and storage
The storage conditions of the product shall be cool, ventilated, sun-proof, isolated from
fire sources. The product cannot be placed horizontally or upside down.
6.4 Quality certificate
Each batch of products shall be accompanied by a quality certificate, stating:
a) Supplier’s name, address, telephone number, fax number;
b) Name of the purchaser;
c) Product name, designation, batch number, grade;
