1 Scope
This document specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods,
inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage and accompanying
documents and order sheet content of battery grade anhydrous lithium hydroxide.
This document applies to battery grade anhydrous lithium hydroxide produced by
various methods.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 magnetic impurity
Substances that can be directly or indirectly adsorbed by ferromagnets.
NOTE: It mainly refers to magnetic substances in iron, chromium, nickel, zinc and their alloys.
This document shows the combined amount of the four elements iron, chromium, nickel and zinc.
The product is in the form of white granules or powder with no visible inclusions.
6 Test methods
6.1 The chemical composition analysis of the product shall be carried out in accordance
with the provisions of GB/T 11064.
6.2 The magnetic impurity analysis of the product shall be carried out in accordance
with the provisions of Annex B of GB/T 26008-2020.
6.3 The particle size analysis of the product is carried out in accordance with the
provisions of GB/T 19077.
6.4 The appearance quality of the product is visually inspected.
7 Inspection rules
7.1 Inspection and acceptance
7.1.1 Products shall be inspected by the supplier or a third party to ensure that product
quality complies with the provisions of this document and the order sheet.
7.1.2 The purchaser shall inspect the received products in accordance with the
provisions of this document. If the inspection results are inconsistent with the
provisions of this document and the order sheet, it shall be submitted to the supplier in
writing, and the matter shall be resolved through negotiation between the supplier and
the purchaser. Objections related to packaging quality shall be submitted to the supplier
within 7 days from the date of receipt of the product. Objections related to other
performance shall be submitted to the supplier within 30 days from the date of receipt
of the product, and shall be resolved through negotiation between the supplier and the
purchaser. If arbitration is required, it shall be determined by joint sampling or
negotiation between the supplier and the purchaser on the purchaser's.
7.2 Batching
Products shall be submitted for acceptance in batches. Each batch shall be composed of
products with the same production process, the same designation, and the same
appearance. The net weight of each batch of products shall not exceed 10 t. For large-
volume supply, the batch grouping method can be determined by negotiation between
the supplier and the purchaser.
7.3 Inspection items
Each batch of products shall be inspected for chemical composition, magnetic impurity,
particle size and appearance quality.

g) "Corrosive substances" mark in Table 2 of GB 190-2009;
h) "Afraid of rain" mark in Table 1 of GB/T 191-2008;
i) Industrial product production license number and logo;
j) Others.
8.2 Packaging, transportation and storage
8.2.1 Products are double-packed in plastic film bags or aluminum-plastic bags lined
with plastic woven bags. The inner bag is zipped or heat-sealed. The outer pocket seams
are secure. If there are other requirements for the packaging method of the product, the
supplier and the purchaser can negotiate. The net weight of each bag is based on
customer requirements.
8.2.2 Contact with acid shall be avoided during product transportation. The packaging
bag shall be prevented from being damaged during transportation and handling. Pay
attention to moisture-proof.
8.2.3 The product shall be stored in a dry, acid-free atmosphere. The storage period
shall not exceed half a year.
8.3 Accompanying documents
Each batch of products shall be accompanied by accompanying documents, which shall
include the following:
a) Supplier's name, address, telephone number, fax;
b) Product name and designation;
c) Appearance and morphology;
d) Batch number;
e) Net weight and number of pieces;
f) Various analysis and inspection results and the imprint of the technical supervision
department;
g) This document number;
