This Document applies to hot-rolled steel strips produced by Baoshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., as well as steel sheets transversely cut from steel strips and longitudinally cut steel strips, hereinafter referred to as steel sheets and steel strips. 2 Normative References The provisions in following documents become the essential provisions of this Document through reference in this Document. For the dated documents, only the versions with the dates indicated are applicable to this Document; for the undated documents, only the latest version (including all the amendments) is applicable to this Document. GB/T 709 Dimensions, shape, weight and tolerances for hot rolled steel sheets and strips GB/T 8170 Rules of rounding off for numerical values & expression and judgement of limiting values 3 Terms and Definitions For the purposes of this Document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 709 apply. 4 Classification and Code 4.1 It can be classified as follows according to the edge state: a) Edge-cutting, EC; b) Edge-milling, EM. 4.2 It can be classified as follows according to the thickness precision: a) Ordinary thickness precision, PT.A; b) Higher thickness precision, PT.B; c) Advanced thickness precision, PT.C. 4.3 For the edge-milling steel sheets and strips, which can be classified as follows according to the width precision: a) Ordinary width precision, PW.A; b) Higher width precision, PW.B. 4.4 For steel sheets, which can be classified according to the unevenness precision: a) Ordinary unevenness precision, PF.A; b) Higher unevenness precision, PF.B. 4.5 It can be classified as follows according to the surface treatment method: a) Pickled surface; b) Rolled surface. 4.6 It can be classified as follows according to the product category: a) Hot-rolled steel strip; b) Hot-rolled steel sheet; c) Hot-rolled and heat-treated steel sheets; d) Hot-rolled flat steel strip; e) Hot-rolled slit steel strip; f) Hot-rolled pickled steel strip; g) Hot-rolled pickled steel sheet. 5 Dimensions 5.1 The nominal size ranges of steel sheets and strips are listed in Table 1. 5.2 Normally, the recommended nominal width of slit steel strip is any size in multiples of 20mm within the range listed in Table 1. 8.3 Unevenness 8.3.1 Unevenness of steel sheet Place the steel sheet freely on the platform, without applying any pressure except the weight of the steel sheet itself, and measure the maximum distance between the lower surface of the steel sheet and the plane, as shown in Figure 1. 8.3.2 Unevenness of hot-rolled flat steel strips Place the measuring part of the steel strip freely on the platform, without applying any pressure except the weight of the measuring part of the steel strip. Use a ruler with a length of 1000mm, in the longitudinal direction within an area no less than 40mm from the longitudinal edge of the steel strip, to measure the maximum distance between the upper surface of the steel strip and the ruler. 8.4 Cambering The maximum distance between the concave side of the steel sheet or strip and the straight line connecting the two end points of the measuring part, as shown in Figure 2. For steel sheets with a length L< 5000mm, the measured length of the steel sheet is the actual length; for steel sheets with a length L≥5000mm, the measured length of the steel sheet is any 5000mm. 8.5 Out-of-squareness degree (beveling) The vertical projection of the transverse edge of the steel sheet on the longitudinal edge (as shown in Figure 3); or one-half the difference between the diagonals of the steel sheet. 9 Weight 9.1 Steel sheets are delivered according to theoretical or actual weight; and steel strips are delivered according to actual weight. 9.2 When the steel plate is delivered according to the theoretical weight, the thickness used in the theoretical weight calculation is the average of the allowable maximum thickness and the allowable minimum thickness; and the width and length adopt the nominal size values. Unless otherwise specified in the product standard, the density is 7.85g/cm3. The theoretical weight calculation method is shown in Appendix A (Normative). 9.3 The weight of different categories of products shall comply with the provisions of Table 14. 10 Numerical Rounding Rules The numerical judgment adopts the rounding value comparison method, and the numerical ......
