1 Scope

1.1 This standard specifies the requirements for materials, design, fabrication, test methods, inspection rules, marking and identification, ex-factory documents, storage and transportation of tank containers for refrigerated liquefied gas (hereinafter referred to as tank containers). 1.2 This standard is applicable to tank containers of which the design pressure of the tank inner vessel is not less than 0.1MPa, the geometric volume is not less than 1m3, the vacuum powder insulation or high vacuum multilayer insulation structure is adopted, and the tank and the framework are permanently connected. 1.3 This standard is not applicable to the following tank containers. a) tank container made of non-ferrous metal or non-metallic materials; b) tank container filled with refrigerated liquefied gas contents with standard boiling point lower than -196℃; c) tank container filled with toxic contents; d) tank container with special requirements such as national defense military equipment. 1.4 Definition of scope 1.4.1 Tank containers applicable to this standard include tank, pipeline, safety accessories, instruments, filling and discharging accessories, pressure build coils, frameworks, supports, operation boxes, etc. 1.4.2 The tank is defined as follows. 1.4.3 The pipeline includes all pipes and fittings connected to the tank. 1.5 The requirements set forth in this standard are basic safety technical requirements, and the tank containers conforming to this standard may be suitable for road, railway or waterway transportation and combined transportation thereof.

3 Terms and definitions

For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 150.1, GB/T 150.4, GB/T 16563, GB/T 18443 and GB/T 26929 as well as the following apply. 3.1 refrigerated liquefied gas gas which is partially in liquid state due to low temperature during transportation, the critical temperature of which is generally not higher than -50℃ 3.2 tank containers for refrigerated liquefied gas tank containers composed of vacuum insulated tank and framework for storing refrigerated liquefied gas 3.3 high vacuum multilayer insulation mode of insulation by highly vacuuming the annular space of the tank equipped with multiple layers of screens against thermal radiation which are alternately insulated by insulation materials 3.4 vacuum powder insulation mode of insulation by vacuuming the vacuum annular space of the tank filled with porous particle insulation materials 3.5 geometric volume internal volume of the inner vessel determined according to the design geometric dimension minus the volume occupied by the inner parts 3.6 effective volume maximum liquid volume of refrigerated liquefied gas that is allowed to be filled in an internal vessel in use

4 Qualifications and responsibilities

4.1 Qualifications 4.1.1 The design, fabrication, inspection and acceptance of the tank containers shall not only meet the requirements of this standard, but also meet those of relevant laws, regulations and safety technical regulations issued in China. 4.1.2 The design and fabrication units of the tank container shall obtain the corresponding special equipment design and manufacturing licenses according to TSG R0005. 4.2 Responsibilities 4.2.1 User or design entrusting party The user or design entrusting party shall submit the design conditions of tank containers to the design unit in formal written form, at least covering. 4.2.2 Design unit 4.2.2.3 The design unit shall preserve all design documents within the design service life of tank containers. 4.2.3 Fabrication unit 4.2.3.1 The tank containers shall be subjected to integrated fabrication, and the fabrication unit shall be responsible for the fabrication quality. 4.2.3.7 The tank containers shall be subjected to sample container type test and low-temperature performance type test according to types, and shall obtain the qualification certificate approved by the competent department.

5 Materials

5.1 General requirements 5.1.1 The mechanical, physical and processing properties and the compatibility with contents shall be considered for the selection of materials. 5.1.2 For the material that may be exposed to oxygen or oxygen-enriched environment, its compatibility with oxygen shall meet the requirements of GB/T 31481. 5.1.3 Materials for non-pressure elements welded with pressure elements shall have good toughness and weldability, and shall be matched with the welded pressure elements. 5.1.4 The material fabrication unit shall make clear and firm factory steel impression mark or adopt other traceable mark on the obvious position of the material. 5.2 Tank materials 5.2.1 The materials selected for the tank shall comply with GB/T 150.2 and relevant national or professional standards. For selection of materials for pressure elements of tank, the service conditions (e.g. design temperature, design pressure, content characteristics and operating characteristics), material properties (mechanical, process, chemical and physical properties), 5.2.2 The use of materials with foreign designations and new materials shall meet the relevant requirements of TSG R0005. 5.2.3 Inner vessels 5.2.4 Outer jacket 5.2.6 Steel forgings 5.2.7 Steel pipes and fittings 5.2.8 Insulation materials 5.2.8.1 The expanded perlite for vacuum powder insulation shall meet the following requirements. 5.2.9 Adsorbent materials 5.2.10 Welding materials 5.2.12 Framework materials 5.2.13 Others

6 Design

7 Safety accessories, instruments and filling/discharging

accessories 7.1 General requirements 7.1.1 The setting of safety accessories, instruments and filling/discharging accessories of tank containers shall meet the requirements of design documents in addition to this standard. 7.1.2 Safety accessories include overpressure relief device (safety valve, bursting disk device and the combination of them), outer jacket explosion-proof device, emergency cut-off device, static conducting device, etc. 7.1.3 Instruments include pressure gauge, liquid level meter, temperature measuring device (if necessary), etc. 7.1.4 Filling and discharging accessories include filling/discharging valves, filling/discharging hoses and quick filling/discharging joints (hereinafter referred to as quick joints), etc. 7.1.5 The selected safety accessories, instruments and filling/discharging accessories shall be suitable for the filling contents. 7.1.6 Safety accessories, instruments and filling/discharging accessories shall be provided with quality certificates and conformity certificates along with the products, with permanent identifications or metal nameplates on obvious parts of the products. 7.2 Overpressure relief device for inner vessel 7.2.1 Setting of overpressure relief device for inner vessel 7.4 Emergency cut-off device 7.4.1 The emergency cut-off device is generally composed of emergency cut-off valve, remote control system and fusible alloy plug. The emergency cut-off device shall be flexible in operation, reliable in performance and convenient for maintenance, and shall not be used for other purposes. 7.5 Static conducting device 7.5.1 The tank containers filled with flammable and explosive contents shall have good 7.6 Instruments 7.6.1 General requirements 7.6.2 Pressure gauge 7.6.3 Liquid level meter 7.6.3.1 The tank shall be equipped with at least one liquid level meter. 7.6.3.2 The liquid level meter shall be selected correctly according to the design parameters such as filling contents, design pressure and design temperature. 7.7 Filling and discharging accessories 7.7.1 Filling and discharging valves 7.7.2 Filling and discharging hoses and quick joints

8 Fabrication

8.1 General requirements 8.1.1 Tank containers shall be fabricated and inspected in accordance with the design documents approved by specified procedures and the requirements of this standard. 8.1.2 When pressure elements (seal heads, forgings, etc.) for corner fittings and tanks as well as safety accessories, instruments, handling accessories and others for tanks are purchased or outsourced, the fabrication units of tank containers shall ensure that the quality of these elements meets the requirements of the design documents and this part, and can they be used only after passing the inspection. 8.2 Tanks 8.2.1 Classification of welded joints 8.2.2 Material re-inspection, cutting and mark transplantation 8.2.3 Cold and hot forming 8.2.3.1 The drum and seal head may be formed into required shapes by cold/thermal forming. 8.2.3.5 The seal head shall meet the requirements of GB/T 25198 and the design drawings. 8.2.3.6 The seal head shall be integrally formed as far as possible and meet the following requirements. 8.2.5 Welding 8.3 Pipeline fabrication 8.4 Framework 8.5 Helium mass spectrometer leak detection 8.5.1 After the inner vessel and the outer jacket are assembled together, the vacuum annular space 8.6 Tank coating The coating of tank shall meet the requirements of JB/T 4711 and the design drawings.

9 Test methods

9.1 Test sequence 9.1.1 The tank containers can be subjected to low temperature performance test only after the structural strength test is completed. 9.1.2 The tank containers with crash test requirements shall be subjected to low-temperature performance test after the crash test is completed. 9.1.3 The tank containers with heat treatment requirements shall be subjected to pressure test after the heat treatment is completed. 9.2 Pressure test 9.2.5 Basic requirements for pressure test 9.2.5.1 Continuous pressure shall not be used to maintain the test pressure during the pressure holding period, and during the pressure test, bolts shall not be tightened under pressure or external force shall not be applied to the pressure elements. 9.2.6 Hydraulic test 9.2.7 Air pressure test 9.3 Leakage test 9.4 Cold shock test 9.14 Stacking test 9.15 Lifting from the top corner fitting 9.16 Lifting from the bottom fitting 9.17 External longitudinal restraint test 9.18 Internal longitudinal restraint test 9.19 Internal transverse restraint test 9.20 Transverse racking test 9.22 Load transfer zone test (optional) 9.23 Trail making test (optional) ......
