1 Theme Contents and Applicable Scope
This Standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking,
packaging, transportation, and storage requirements for microporous styrene type weak basic
anion exchange resin D301-FC.
This Standard applies to microporous styrene type weak basic anion exchange resin D301-FC
with particle size of 0.45~1.25 mm and containing tertiary amino groups as the primary active
groups.

3 Product Model and Major Usage
The model of microporous styrene type weak basic anion exchange resin D301-FC is named
P1 – particle size of resin with specimen particle size of 0.45~1.25mm, in %;
V0 – volume of the specimen, in mL;
V1 – volume of resin with specimen particle size less than 0.45mm, in mL;
V2 – volume of resin with specimen particle size more than 1.25mm, in mL;
P2 – particle size of resin with specimen particle size less than 0.45mm, in %.
5.8 Determination of effective particle size and uniformity coefficient
The determination shall be conducted using the method specified in GB/T 5758.During the
sieving process, the screen shall be backwashed with water 3~5 times.
5.9 Determination of osmotic-attrition ball rate
The determination shall be conducted using the method specified in GB/T 12598.The specimen
shall take the original sample.
6 Inspection Rules
6.1 Each batch of product shall be considered a batch.
6.2 Sampling shall be conducted using the method specified in GB/T 5475.
6.3 Each batch of products must be inspected by the manufacturer's quality inspection
department. The manufacturer shall ensure that all products leaving the factory meet the
technical requirements specified in this Standard. An inspection report shall be provided for
each batch of products.
6.4 Appearance in 4.1 and water content, mass full exchange capacity, volume full exchange
capacity, wet apparent density, wet true density, particle size, and osmotic-attrition ball rate in
Table 4.3 of this Standard are exit-factory inspection items. The effective particle size and
uniformity coefficient in Table 4.3 are random inspection items and must be inspected at least
once a month. Type inspection shall be conducted in accordance with the provisions of 6.6.1 in
GB 1.3.
6.5 If the user requires inspection of the received products, it shall be conducted in accordance
with the provisions of this Standard. Re-inspection shall be requested from the manufacturer
within three months of receipt.
6.6 If the inspection results show that a technical requirement does not comply with the
provisions of this Standard, re-inspection shall be conducted by sampling from twice the
number of packages in the batch, and the grade shall be determined based on the re-inspection
results.
6.7 If any dispute arises between the supplier and the purchaser regarding product quality, the
dispute shall be resolved through mutual negotiation or arbitration by the authorized quality
inspection department.
7 Marking, Packaging, Transportation, and Storage
7.1 Marking
Each package must be clearly and securely marked with the product name, model, net weight,
manufacturer's name, and this Standard number.
7.2 Packaging
The products must be packaged in a container lined with a transparent plastic bag or woven bag.
Each package must be accompanied by a certificate of conformity. The certificate must indicate
the grade, batch number, and production date.
7.3 Transportation
During transportation, this product must be maintained at 5~40°C. Care must be taken to
prevent the resin from losing water.
This product is not a hazardous material.
7.4 Storage
This product has a shelf life of two years under the temperature conditions specified in 7.3.
After the shelf life has expired, reinspection may be performed in accordance with the
provisions of this Standard. If the reinspection results still meet the requirements of this
Standard, it may continue to be used.
