Tapered elastic washer for assembly
1 Scope
This part of GB/T 9074 specifies the type dimensions, technical conditions and markings of tapered elastic washers for assemblies.
This section applies to tapered washers for bolts or screws and tapered washer assemblies in accordance with GB/T 9074.32 (hereinafter referred to as pads)

The gasket used. For bolts or screws with a performance rating below 8.8, the performance of the gasket will be significantly reduced due to deformation of the contact surface.
Note. After installation with a sufficiently high preload, the gasket prevents preload loss due to deformation and creep. Residual elastic force according to GB/T 94.4
Can be used as a gasket for initial performance evaluation. Under lateral load, the loosening performance cannot be guaranteed, so it is only used for short bolts that mainly bear axial loads.
