Foreword
This Standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This Standard replaces GB/ T799-1988 “Eyelet bolts”. Compared with GB/T
799-1988, the major technical changes are as follows:
-- Modify the specification range (see Table 1 ~ Table 3; Table 1 of version
1988);
-- Add the type dimensions of foundation bolts (see Chapter 3);
-- Modify the length series (see Table 4; Table 1 of version 1988);
-- Add general technical requirements (GB/T 16938) (see Table 5);
-- Change the product performance grade from 3.6 to 4.6 and 5.6 (see Table
5; Table 2 of version 1988);
-- Add technical requirements for hot-dip galvanizing (GB/T 5267.3) (see
Table 5).
This Standard was proposed by China Machinery Industry Federation.
This Standard shall be under the jurisdiction of National Technical Committee
85 on Fasteners of Standardization Administration of China (SAC/TC 85).
The drafting organizations of this Standard: Hebei Xinde Power Accessories
Co., Ltd., China Productivity Center for Machinery, Zhejiang Haili Co., LTD.,
Ningbo Ningli High-strength Fastener Co., Ltd., General Parts Product Quality
Supervision and Testing Center for Machinery Industry.
This Standard shall be under the interpretation of the National Technical
Committee 85 on Fasteners of Standardization Administration of China.
The previous versions of the standards which are replaced by this Standard are:

1 Scope
This Standard specifies the type dimensions, technical conditions, reference
standards and marking of foundation bolts.
This Standard applies to foundation bolts, of which is thread specification is M8
~ M72, the performance grades are 4.6 and 5.6, and the product grade is C.
