This Standard replaces GB/T 755-2008 "Rotating electrical machines - Rating and performance". Compared with GB/T 755-2008, in addition to editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows: - Modify the thermal equilibrium condition as follows: The temperature rises of the heating parts of the machine do not vary by more than a gradient of 1 K per half hour (see 3.25; 3.25 of the 2008 edition); - ADD the term "runaway speed" (see 3.33); - Modify the requirements of water coolant temperature (see 6.5; 6.5 of the 2008 edition); - ADD the provision that variable-frequency machines shall meet the IVIC requirements; ADD the requirements of bus transfer and fast reclosing (see 7.1); - ADD Table 3, CCC symbol designation of converter supply mode (see Table 3 in 7.2.4); - Modify item 5 of Table 4 in 7.3: Synchronous generator driven by steam turbines or combustion gas turbines with rated output ≥10 MVA (see Table 4; Table 3 of the 2008 edition); - ADD the provision on impulse voltage insulation class for machines designed to operate without partial discharges (see 7.5); - ADD a new insulation class 200(N); modify some temperature rise limits in Table 8 (see Table 8; Table 7 of the 2008 edition); - Modify the calculation formula of item 1b in Table 10 (see Table 10; Table 9 of the 2008 edition); - ADD the marking of IC code, IVIC of variable-frequency machines, and of efficiency class IE code (see 10.2); - Modify items 1 and 2 of tolerances (see 12.2; 12.2 of the 2008 edition); - ADD EMC requirements for excitation synchronous machines without brushes (see 13.1). This Standard, using translation method, is identical to IEC 60034-1:2017 "Rotating electrical machines - Part 1: Rating and performance".
