Foreword
This Standard replaces GB/T 3561-1989 “Method for analysis of hygienic standard of
papers for food packaging”.
Compared with GB/T 3561-1989, the main amendments are as follows.
- MODIFY the structure of the original standard according to GB/T 20001.4-2001
“Rules for drafting standards - Part 4.Methods of chemical analysis”.
This Standard is proposed and shall be under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Health
of the People's Republic of China.
Shanghai Food Hygiene Supervision and Inspection Institute is responsible for the
drafting of this Standard.
Main drafters of this Standard. Zhu Huifen and Zheng Leixia.
The original standard was first issued in 1985, the first revision is in 1989, this is the
second revision.

1 Scope
This Standard specifies the method for analysis of hygienic standard of papers for food
packaging.
This Standard applies to a variety of base paper direct contact with food, including the
analysis of hygienic standard of food packaging paper, candy paper, popsicle paper,
etc.
2 Normative references
The provisions in following documents become the provisions of this Standard through
reference in this Standard. For dated references, the subsequent amendments
(excluding corrigendum) or revisions do not apply to this Standard, however, parties
