1 Scope
This document specifies the structure, identification method, and requirements for the
product identification code of complete machine of civil unmanned aerial vehicle.
This document is applicable to the management of unique identification, life cycle and
product traceability of complete-machine product of civil unmanned aerial vehicle.
2 Normative references
The contents of the following documents, through normative references in this text,
constitute indispensable provisions of this document. Among them, for dated references,
only the edition corresponding to that date applies to this document. For undated
references, the latest edition (including all amendments) applies to this document.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Unmanned aerial vehicle; unmanned aircraft
An unmanned aircraft operated by remote control equipment or self-prepared program
control device.
Note 1: Unmanned aircrafts include remotely-controlled aircraft, autonomous aircraft, and model
aircraft, etc.
Note 2: Remotely-controlled aircraft and autonomous aircraft are collectively referred to as
The specific meanings of MFC, PMC and SN are as follows:
a) MFC: MFC consists of 4-digit fixed-length characters. The characters shall be
selected from Arabic numerals (0~9) and Latin capital letters (A~Z) except Latin
capital letters "O" and "I", and combined. The combination can be in the form of
Arabic numerals, Latin capital letters, a combination of Arabic numerals and
Latin capital letters;
b) PMC: PMC consists of 4-digit fixed-length characters. The characters shall be
selected from Arabic numerals (0~9) and Latin capital letters (A~Z) except Latin
capital letters "O" and "I", and combined. The combination can be in the form of
Arabic numerals, Latin capital letters, a combination of Arabic numerals and
Latin capital letters;
c) SN: SN consists of 12-digit fixed-length characters. The characters shall be
selected from Arabic numerals (0~9) and Latin capital letters (A~Z) except Latin
capital letters "O" and "I", and combined. The combination can be in the form of
Arabic numerals, Latin capital letters, a combination of Arabic numerals and
Latin capital letters.
MFC and PMC are applied by the manufacturer of unmanned aerial vehicle to the
management agency authorized by the administrative department. The SN is defined
by the manufacturer of unmanned aerial vehicle itself.
6 Identification method
6.1 General
The unique product identification code can be identified by the fuselage nameplate,
barcode, QR code, electronic tag, or radio broadcast, etc.
6.2 Barcode
When the unique product identification code is identified by barcode, the symbol
structure shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 18347. In addition to being
identified by barcode, the identification code shall also be clearly marked below the
barcode.
6.3 QR code
When the unique product identification code is identified by the QR code, the symbol
structure of the QR code shall use the QR code system specified by the relevant national
standards. In addition to being identified by the QR code, the identification code shall
also be clearly marked below the QR code.
