1 Scope
This document specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules,
incoming inspection and acceptance, packaging, transportation, storage, quality
certificate, and order form (or contract) of recycling materials for pure aluminium.
This document applies to the pure aluminum raw materials for melting and casting
(hereinafter referred to as raw materials) obtained after recycled aluminum through
sorting and other processing.
2 Normative references
The following documents contain the provisions which, through normative reference in
this document, constitute the essential provisions of this document. For the dated
referenced documents, only the versions with the indicated dates are applicable to this
document; for the undated referenced documents, only the latest version (including all
the amendments) is applicable to this document.

3 Terms and definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 8005.1 and the following apply to this
document.
3.1 recycling materials for pure aluminium
The pure aluminum raw materials for melting and casting that are obtained after sorting
and other processing of recycled aluminum, and meet the relevant requirements of this
document.
3.2 foreign material
Non-metallic substances mixed in or attached to raw materials.
Note: They include wood, textile, plastic, glass, stone, paper, sand, rubber, sludge, powder with particle
size not greater than 2 mm (such as powder, oil, crystalline salt, fiber powder), material blocks with the

The test shall be carried out according to GB/T 40382-2021.
7 Inspection rules
The inspection rules shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 40382-2021.
8 Incoming inspection and acceptance
The buyer shall conduct incoming inspection and acceptance in accordance with
Appendix B. If the inspection results are inconsistent with the provisions of this
document and the order form (or contract), it shall be submitted to the supplier in
writing. If arbitration is required, an organization recognized by both the supplier and
the buyer can be entrusted to carry out the arbitration inspection, and the sample shall
be taken jointly with the buyer.
9 Packaging, transportation, storage, and quality certificate
All these shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 40382-2021.
10 Contents of an order form (or contract)
An order form (or contract) for the materials listed in this document shall include the
following contents:
a) Raw material categories, raw material sources;
b) Packaging methods of raw materials;
c) Special requirements for the appearance and dimensions of raw materials;
d) Foreign material content;
e) Volatile substance content;
f) Metal recovery rate;
g) Other special requirements;
h) This document number.
Appendix B
(Normative)
Incoming inspection and acceptance
B.1 Inspection items and requirements
B.1.1 Inspection items
Each batch of raw materials shall be inspected for appearance quality, volatile substance
content, metal recovery rate, and chemical composition.
B.1.2 Appearance quality
B.1.2.1 The surface of recycled aluminum ingots shall be clean and free of serious flash
or pores.
B.1.2.2 The appearance of other raw materials shall be clean, without obvious oil, sand,
and corrosion, and without obvious paper, plastic, rubber, foam, fiber, iron, copper, tin,
and other non-aluminium metals.
B.1.3 Volatile substance content
The moisture content of raw materials should be no more than 0.5%, and other volatile
substances shall be no more than 1%.
B.1.4 Metal recovery rate
The metal recovery rates of raw materials should meet the requirements in Table B.1.
B.1.5 Chemical composition
The chemical composition of raw materials should comply with the provisions of Table
B.2.
