Technical Requirements for Traceability System
1 Scope
This Standard specifies the architecture, technical support layer requirements,
application function layer requirements, presentation layer requirements, and safety
assurance requirements of consumer product traceability system.
This Standard is applicable to the design, development and application of consumer
product traceability system.
This Standard is not applicable to products such as food, medicine, cosmetics, tobacco,
special equipment, aircraft, ships, and military products.

3 Terms, Definitions and Abbreviations
3.1 Terms and definitions
For the purpose of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 35248-2017
and the following apply. For the benefit of use, some terms and definitions in GB/T
35248-2017 are repeatedly listed as follows.

5 Requirements for Technical Support Layer
5.1 Data encoding
5.1.1 Data coding shall be able to generate codes according to selected coding rules
(such as GB/T 7027).
5.1.2 Data coding shall have the function of managing the validity of data coding.
5.2 Data collection
5.2.1 Data collection methods may be divided into:
--- Automatic collection:
● It should use equipment such as QR code tags, RFID tags, readers, and
terminal screens, etc.;
● It should be connected with other systems (such as CRM, ERP, MES, LIS,
WMS, etc.) to collect the required data.
--- Manual collection:
● It should use system auxiliary functions such as shortcut key entry and batch
association;
● It should use file import method to realize batch import of data.
5.2.2 Data collection shall have the function of automatically generating log records to
retain collection traces.
5.3 Data cleaning
Data cleaning shall have data verification and cleaning functions, including but not
limited to:
--- Missing value data cleaning, automatically identify whether the collected key data
items are missing;
--- Format error data cleaning, automatically identify the data with format error or
format does not meet the specified, such as errors in forms of number type format,
date format, email address format, etc.;
--- Logic error data cleaning, automatically identify the logical error data, such as
--- Equipment information configuration management, record and maintain
equipment name, equipment code and other information;
--- Material supplier information configuration management, record and maintain the
information such as supplier name, unified social credit code and the like;
--- Material information configuration management, record and maintain the
information such as names of key raw materials/components/parts, batch
numbers and the like; associate material supplier information; and provide the
function of whether to choose to disclose this information;
--- Production process information management, record and maintain the
information such as key process names, key process parameters, operating time,
operating site and the like; and associate relevant personnel, equipment,
materials and other information;
--- Production coding management, record and maintain product traceability code
information; and assign traceability codes to traceable units;
--- Testing information management, record and maintain the information such as
testing institutions, testing dates, testing personnel, testing conclusions, testing
reports and the like;
--- Involving OEM products, associate and maintain the manufacturer's information
of the product, including the manufacturer's name, unified social credit code, etc.;
and provide the function of whether to choose to disclose the information.
6.5 Product market traceability module
The product market traceability module shall have management functions such as
addition, modification, and retrieval of market traceability information like warehousing
information, logistics information, transaction information, and after-sales service
information, including but not limited to:
--- Associate the product manufacturing traceability information, and achieve
traceability from product manufacturing to market;
--- Warehouse information configuration management, record and maintain
warehouse location and other information;
--- Customer information configuration management, record and maintain customer
name, contact number and other information;
--- Warehouse information management, record and maintain the information such
as product name, warehouse batch number, manufacturer name, entry-
warehouse time, entry-warehouse quantity, warehouse location, storage
--- Product incoming materials, production and inventory conditions;
--- The condition of the responsible personnel involved in the product;
--- The number of product retrospective queries;
--- Product flow direction;
--- Product complaints.
6.9 Pre-warning analysis module
The pre-warning analysis module shall have pre-warning analysis functions, including
but not limited to:
--- When raw materials/components/parts have risk problems, the corresponding
batch of products may be pre-warned;
--- When the frequency of problems with products suitable for special populations
(such as children and the elderly) exceeds the threshold, the corresponding
batch of products may be pre-warned;
--- When problem products are concentrated in a certain area, it may provide pre-
warning for the target flowing area;
--- When the complaint frequency of a certain batch of products exceeds the
threshold, the corresponding batch of products may be pre-warned.
7 Requirements for Presentation Layer
The presentation layer shall provide corresponding functional operation interfaces
such as Web browsers and smart mobile terminals.
8 Requirements for Security Assurance
The security assurance shall meet the requirements for second level security specified
in GB/T 22239-2019.
