Foreword
This Part of GB/T 3903 identically adopts the International Standard ISO 22777.2004
“Footwear - Test methods for accessories. Touch and close fasteners - Shear strength
before and after repeated closing” (English version), and shares the same technical
content, only the following editorial modifications are made.
a) “this European Standard” is modified into “this Part”;
b) USE the decimal point “.” to replace the comma “,” used as decimal point;
c) DELETE the foreword of the International Standard;
d) DELETE the table of content of the International Standard;
e) for the EU standards referenced in ISO 22776.2004, this Part directly reference
the corresponding national standards;
f) DELETE the annex A of the International Standard.
This Part was proposed by China Light Industry Council.
This Part shall be under the jurisdiction of National Technical Committee on Footwear
of Standardization Administration of China.
Drafting organizations of this Part. Putian Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau
of the People’s Republic of China, China Leather and Footwear Industry Research
Institute.

1 Scope
This Part of GB/T 3903 specifies a test method for determining the longitudinal shear
strength of touch and close fasteners before and after repeated use.
This Part is applicable to all kinds of touch and close fasteners of footwear.
2 Normative references
The provisions in following documents become the provisions of this Part through
reference in this Part of GB/T 3903. For dated references, the subsequent
amendments (excluding corrigendum) or revisions do not apply to this Part, however,
parties who reach an agreement based on this Part are encouraged to study if the
latest versions of these documents are applicable. For undated references, the latest
edition of the referenced document applies.
