1 Scope
This standard specifies the rules and categories for the application information
services classification of Internet of Things.
This standard applies to the planning, design, research & development,
application of the application system of Internet of Things.

The following documents are essential to the application of this document. For
the dated documents, only the versions with the dates indicated are applicable
to this document; for the undated documents, only the latest version (including
all the amendments) are applicable to this standard.

3 Terms and definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 33745-2017, GB/T 33474-2016 and
the following apply to this document.

Application information service
The information service mode wherein the information technology such as
the Internet of Things, cloud computing, big data, etc. is used to collect,
process and analyze data or information in the system or other systems, to
provide system users with more timely, effective and sufficient application
information resources, as well as an interaction.

User domain’s application information services are divided into three categories:
government user’s application information services, public user’s application
information services, business user’s application information services. The
classification codes are as shown in Table 2.

10 Classification of extension domain of IoT
application information service
10.1 Extension principle
The expansion principle is as follows:
a) When the application requirements can be met, it shall use the existing
application information services preferentially, without the need to expand
new application information services;
b) It allow more detailed explanations of existing IoT application information
services than this standard;
c) The extended IoT application information service shall not change the
classification, name, etc. of the existing application information service in
this standard;
d) The code classification of the extended IoT application information service
shall comply with the provisions of 4.1.
