This Standard is applicable to the transportation object identification coding involved in highway transportation and waterway transportation. The identification classification and coding of other modes of transportation may take this as a reference. 2 Normative References The following documents are indispensable to the application of this document. In terms of references with a specified date, only versions with a specified date are applicable to this document. In terms of references without a specified date, the latest version (including all the modifications) is applicable to this document. GB/T 37375 Transportation - Coding Rules of Identification of Internet of Things 3 Basic Classification of Transportation Object Identification In terms of transportation objects with management demands in the transportation industry, in combination of the characteristics of Internet of Things applications, classify the identification of transportation objects. The basic classification codes of transportation object identification are shown in Table 1. 5 Object Identification Classification and Coding of Means of Transportation 5.1 Object Identification Classification of Means of Transportation In terms of means of transportation, object identification includes two parts: highway transportation and waterway transportation. 5.2 Object Identification Structure of Means of Transportation In terms of means of transportation, object identification classification coding is constituted of 3 parts (basic classification code; major class code; minor class code of means of transportation), 5 numeric codes in total. The object identification code structure of means of transportation is shown in Figure 2. The first two digits (02) are the basic classification code defined in Table 1, as a representation of means of transportation; the middle one numeric code is major class code; the latter two numeric codes are minor class code. The rules of object identification for means of transportation shall comply with the requirements in GB/T 37375. Figure 2 -- Structure of Object Identification Classification Code of Means of Transportation 5.3 Object Identification Classification Codes of Means of Highway Transportation Object identification classification codes of means of highway transportation are shown in Table 4. Minor Class Code Major Class Code Basic Classification Code (means of transportation) Table 5 (continued from previous page) 6 Object Identification Classification and Coding of Transportation Infrastructure 6.1 Object Identification Classification Coding Structure of Transportation Infrastructure In terms of transportation infrastructure, object identification classification coding is constituted of 3 parts (basic classification code; major class code; minor class code of infrastructure), 5 numeric codes in total. The object identification code structure of transportation infrastructure is shown in Figure 3. The first two digits (03) are the basic classification code defined in Table 1, as a representation of infrastructure; the middle one numeric code is major class code; the latter two numeric codes are minor class code. The rules of object identification for transportation infrastructure shall comply with the requirements in GB/T 37375. Minor Class Code (category of means of transportation) Major Class Code (category of industries) Name Rescue Boat Floating Dock Public Service Ship Motorboat Sailboat Barge Yacht Special Purpose Ship Above-water Platform 7 Object Identification Classification and Coding of Vehicle-mounted and Ship-borne Equipment 7.1 Object Identification Definition of Vehicle-mounted and Ship-borne Equipment Vehicle-mounted and ship-borne equipment includes various equipment installed on vehicles or ships. This Standard merely defines object identification associated with the Internet of Things. 7.2 Object Identification Classification Coding Structure of Vehicle- mounted and Ship-borne Equipment In terms of vehicle-mounted and ship-borne equipment, object identification classification coding is constituted of 3 parts (basic classification code; major class code; minor class code of vehicle-mounted and ship-borne equipment), 5 numeric codes in total. The object identification classification code structure of vehicle-mounted and ship-borne equipment is shown in Figure 4. The first two digits (04) are the basic classification code defined in Table 1, as a representation of vehicle-mounted and ship- borne equipment; the middle one numeric code is major class code; the latter two numeric codes are minor class code. The rules of object identification for vehicle- mounted and ship-borne equipment shall comply with the requirements in GB/T 37375. Figure 4 -- Structure of Object Identification Classification Code of Vehicle- mounted and Ship-borne Equipment 7.3 Object Identification Classification Codes of Vehicle-mounted and Ship-borne Equipment Object identification classification codes of vehicle-mounted and ship-borne equipment are shown in Table 7. Minor Class Code Major Class Code Basic Classification Code (vehicle-mounted and ship-borne equipment) 8 Object Identification Classification and Coding of Roadside and Shoreside Traffic Electromechanical Node Equipment 8.1 Classification of Roadside and Shoreside Traffic Electromechanical Node Equipment Roadside and shoreside traffic electromechanical node equipment include: equipment installed on roadside or shoreside, such as: traffic detector, roadside communication equipment and information service equipment; traditional roadside and shoreside traffic electromechanical transmission and control equipment. 8.2 Object Identification Classification Coding Structure of Roadside and Shoreside Traffic Electromechanical Node In terms of roadside and shoreside traffic electromechanical node equipment, object identification classification coding is constituted of 3 parts (basic classification code; major class code; minor class code of roadside and shoreside traffic electromechanical node equipment), 5 numeric codes in total. The object identification classification code structure of roadside and shoreside traffic electromechanical node equipment is shown in Figure 5. The first two digits (05) are the basic classification code defined in Table 1, as a representation of roadside and shoreside traffic electromechanical node equipment; the middle one numeric code is major class code; the latter two numeric codes are minor class code. The rules of object identification for roadside and shoreside traffic electromechanical node equipment shall comply with the requirements in GB/T 37375.
