This Standard is applicable to the lithium-ion batteries for electric bicycle. 2 Normative References The following documents are essential to the application of this document. GB/T 36945-2018 Vocabulary of Lithium-Ion Batteries for Electric Bicycle QB/T 4428-2012 Specification and Dimension of Lithium-Ion Batteries for Electric Bicycle 3 Terms and Definitions For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 36945- 2018 and the following apply. 3.1 Middle-installed battery A battery that uses a battery case and is placed in the middle of the electric bicycle. 3.2 Back-installed battery A battery that uses a battery case and is placed in the rear of the electric bicycle. 3.3 Built-in battery A battery directly placed inside the body structure of the electric bicycle. Example 3: The model of square lithium-ion battery with thickness about 7mm, width about 34mm, height about 48mm, with embedded characteristic negative system and lithium iron phosphate anode shall be prepared as ITP7/34/48. Example 4: The model of square polymer lithium-ion battery with thickness about 2.4mm, width about 68mm, height about 70mm, with embedded characteristic negative system and manganese base anode shall be prepared as IMPt24/68/70. 5 Battery Pack Model Naming and Preparation Method 5.1 Model composition 5.1.1 General The model of battery pack consists of the battery pack’s usage code, nominal voltage code, rated capacity code, installation method (position) code, size additional number code, and positive system code. 5.1.2 Usage code The usage code of the battery pack uses two capital letters in English of DZ for electric bicycle. 5.1.3 Nominal voltage code and rated capacity code The nominal voltage code and rated capacity code of the battery pack separately consist of two Arabic numerals; when the integer is less than 10, then supplement “0” in the tens place. For example, if the nominal voltage of the battery pack is 24V, then its code is 24. If the rated capacity of the battery pack is 9Ah, then its code is 09, and so on. 5.1.4 Installation method (position) code If battery pack is installed at different positions of the electric bicycle, the installation size and method are different. The installation method code of the battery pack is indicated by a capital letter in English, as shown in Table 2. 5.2.2 Model preparation example The model of the battery pack shall be prepared as per the requirements of 5.2.1. Example 1: The model of lithium-ion battery adopting the external middle-installed mode, with nominal voltage 36V, rated capacity of 10Ah, adopting lithium iron phosphate as anode material, with the appearance size of the battery 375mm×135mm×90mm shall be prepared as DZ36Z-10AT. Example 2: The model of lithium-ion battery adopting the external back-installed mode, with nominal voltage 48V, rated capacity 12Ah, adopting ternary material as anode material, with the appearance size of battery 390mm×170mm×80mm shall be prepared as DZ48H-12BS. 6 Marking 6.1 General The outer surface of each single battery and battery pack shall have a clear, long- lasting and non-shedding marking. 6.2 Marking of single battery The single battery marking shall have the following information: a) Product name; b) Specification and model; c) Nominal voltage; d) Rated capacity; e) Polarity; f) Manufacture date or batch number; g) Name of manufacturer or producer. 6.3 Marking of battery pack The battery pack marking shall have the following Chinese information: a) Product name; ......
