3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions, and what is defined in GB 15763.3-2009 are applicable to this Standard. Safety impairment is triggered when the following requirements are simultaneously satisfied. a) Crack or breakage is allowed to exist during the damage, but crack or breakage that allows a ball (diameter. 76 mm) to pass under the maximum thrust of 25 N is now allowed; b) When fragment stripping emerges after the impact, weigh fragments that strip off from the sample within 3 min after the impact. The total mass of fragments shall be ≤ the mass of 100 cm2 of sample; the maximum mass of stripped fragments shall be < the mass of 44 cm2 of sample. 6.8 Resistance to Chemicals and Dirt After test, the surface of the sample shall not manifest the following adverse phenomena. permanent dirt, softening, tackiness, fracturing or obvious devitrification. 6.9 Resistance to Dry-wet Cycle After test, the sample shall not manifest the following adverse phenomena. breakage, fracturing, blistering, demolding or degumming.

7 Test Methods

7.1 Test Conditions Apart from special stipulations, test shall be conducted under the following conditions. a) Ambient environment. 20 °C ± 5 °C; b) Atmospheric pressure. 8.60 x 104 Pa ~ 1.06 x 105 Pa; c) Relative humidity (RH). 40% ~ 80%. 7.2 Appearance Quality Take a product as the sample; vertically place the sample under relatively favorable natural light or scattered illumination; observe the glass from a distance of 1 m under a vertical direction. Determine the dimension of point defect and the width of linear defect with a reading microscope (10 times magnification, division value. 0.1 mm). Measure linear defect, burst length and open edge with a steel ruler (minimum division value. 1 mm) or other measuring instruments with equivalent division value. Conduct visual inspection of edge, corner, crack, degumming, demolding, fluff, splicing, wrinkle and stripe. 7.3 Dimensional Deviation 7.9.3 Test procedure 7.9.3.1 Use hot soapy water to clean the surface of the sample; use cotton to wipe it clean. 7.9.3.2 Transfer the test solution and respectively drop it (1.0 mL) onto the coated surface and glass surface of the sample; take a glass cup (caliber. 40 mm) to cover it; place it evenly for (2 ± 0.25 h) at ambient temperature; keep away from direct sunlight. Use deionized water or distilled water to clean the surface of the sample; use cotton to wipe it clean. Each reagent shall have independent test area or test sample. 7.9.3.3 After the test, record whether the reagent triggers adverse phenomena, such as dirt, softening, tackiness, fracturing or obvious devitrification. 7.10 Resistance to Dry-wet Cycle 7.10.1 Sample The sample is flat glass (specification. 300 mm x 300 mm) that is manufactured under the same processing technology with the same materials. The inner cavity of the sink is rectangular solid (bottom area ≤ 0.3 m2). Drinking water that complies with requirements in GB 5749 shall be adopted as test water; detergent shall comply with requirements in GB/T 9985. 7.10.2 Test procedure 7.10.2.1 Vertically place 3 PCS of sample on the shelf; place it in the sink. 7.10.2.2 Import (85 ± 1) °C water into the sink, till the sample is 200 mm sunken in water. Naturally cool it down for (8 ± 0.25) h while keeping the sink open. 7.10.2.3 Take the sample out of the sink; use soft and wet cotton to wipe water stain on the surface; place it in (50 ± 2) °C oven and dry it for (16 ± 0.25) h. 7.10.2.4 Take the sample out of the oven; repeat the above step, start cycling for 20 times. 7.10.2.5 If the test is forced to be suspended, place the sample in (50 ± 2) °C oven and temporarily store it in the oven. During the test, avoid mutual contact among samples, and contact among the sample, and the walls of the sink and the oven. 7.10.2.6 Use detergent and blush solution (concentration. 100 g/L) to prepare a mixed solution by volume ratio. 1. 1,000. After 20 times of cycling, use soft sponge or paint brush that is dipped into this solution to slightly brush the surface of the sample. After reserving the solution for (5 ± 1) min, use clean soft wet cotton to wipe it clean. Conduct visual observation and record whether there are blush trace or other changes on the 8.4.2 Inspection items Inspection items include all the requirements in Chapter 6. 8.4.3 Group batch Same as 8.3.2. 8.4.4 Sampling 8.4.4.1 Appearance quality, dimensional deviation, thickness deviation, stack deviation and flatness Same as 8.3.3. 8.4.4.2 Resistance to chemicals and dirt Randomly take 3 PCS from products that pass the inspection of appearance quality, dimensional deviation, thickness deviation, stack deviation and flatness. 8.4.5 Determination 8.4.5.1 Block determination During the inspection of appearance quality, dimensional deviation, thickness deviation, stack deviation and flatness, and resistance to chemicals and dirt, when various indexes in the inspection result of a piece of glass can comply with the requirements of corresponding stipulations, this piece of glass shall be determined as qualified, otherwise, it shall be determined as unqualified. 8.4.5.2 Comprehensive determination 8.4.5.2.1 The inspection of appearance quality, dimensional deviation, thickness deviation, stack deviation and flatness shall be the same as 8.3.4.2.1. 8.4.5.2.2 During the falling-ball impact and stripping performance test of 6 PCS of sample, when ≥ 5 PCS comply with the requirements, it shall be determined as qualified; when ≤ 3 PCS comply with the requirements, it shall be determined as unqualified; when 4 PCS comply with the requirements, another 6 PCS of new sample shall be re-inspected, and it shall be determined as qualified when all 6 PCS comply with the requirements. 8.4.5.2.3 During shot-bag impact performance test of 4 PCS of sample, it shall be determined as qualified when all the requirements are satisfied. 8.4.5.2.4 Respectively take 3 PCS of sample for the test of resistance to chemicals, dirt and dry-wet cycle, when 3 PCS comply with the requirements, it shall be determined as qualified; when 1 PCS complies with the requirements, it shall be ......
