This Standard is applicable to acidity iron pellets for blast furnaces (hereinafter referred to as iron pellets, the same as below) produced from iron ore concentrates or iron ore powders. 2 Normative References The following documents are essential to the application of this document. GB/T 1361 Analytical Methods of Iron Ores - Generality and Common Rules GB/T 6730.5 Iron Ores - Determination of Total Iron Content – Titanium (Ⅲ) Chloride Reduction Methods GB/T 6730.9 Iron Ores - Determination of Silicon Content - Silicomolybdic Blue Spectrophotometric Method Reduced by Ammonium Ferrous Sulfate GB/T 6730.11 Iron Ores - Determination of Aluminum Content - EDTA Titrimetric Method GB/T 6730.17 Iron Ores - Determination of Sulfur Content - Combustion Iodometric Method GB/T 6730.18 Iron Ores - Determination of Phosphorus Content - Molybdenum Blue Spectrophotometric Method GB/T 6730.62 Iron ores - Determination of Calcium, Silicon, Manganese, Titanium, Phosphorus, Magnesium, Aluminum and Barium Content - Wavelength Dispersive X-Ray Fluorescence Spectrometric Method GB/T 10322.1 Iron Ores - Sampling and Sample Preparation Procedures 5.4 The analysis of phosphorus content in pellets shall be carried out in accordance with provisions of GB/T6730.18. 5.5 The analysis of aluminum oxide content in pellets shall be conducted in accordance with provisions of GB/T 6730.11. 5.6 The analysis of calcium oxide content and magnesium oxide content in pellets shall be conducted in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 6730.62. 5.7 The reduction swelling index shall be determined in accordance with provisions of GB/T 13240. 5.8 The reduction index shall be determined in accordance with provisions of GB/T 13241. 5.9 The low-temperature reduction degradation index shall be determined in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 13242. 5.10 The tensile strength shall be determined in accordance with provisions of GB/T 14201. 5.11 The tumbler strength and abrasion resistance index shall be determined in accordance with the provisions of YB/T 5166. 5.12 The particle size and sieving index shall be determined in accordance with provisions of GB/T 10322.7. 6 Inspection Rules 6.1 Sampling and sample preparation methods of pellets shall be conducted in accordance with provisions of GB/T10322.1. 6.2 Pellet products with the same variety, the same supplier and the same arriving time shall be regarded as an inspection lot every 3000t; and pellet products of less than 3000t are also regarded as an inspection lot. 6.3 The following items are the routine inspection items such as total iron content, silicon dioxide content, sulfur content, phosphorus content, tensile strength, and sieving index. 6.4 The following items shall be regularly inspected or randomly selected by the supplier and the purchaser through negotiation, such as particle-grade, tumbler strength, abrasion resistance index, and metallurgical performance indicators. 6.5 When the purchaser has any objection to quality, it shall be resolved through consultation between the supplier and the purchaser. ......
