3.1.1 Draw-bar trailers shall be manufactured in accordance with the drawings
and technical documentations approved by the prescribed procedures.
3.1.2 Purchased and outsourced parts shall comply with the relevant standards
and have the certificate of the manufacturer, which can be used only after
passing the inspection by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM). All self-
made parts can be assembled only after passing the inspection.
3.1.3 The limits of dimensions, axle load, and masses for draw-bar trailers shall
comply with the requirements of GB 1589.
3.1.4 The distance BETWEEN the projection point of the center of draw-bar
trailer turntable on the horizontal plane AND the projection point of the center
of the left and right wheels of the rear axle on the horizontal plane is not more
than 3 mm.
3.1.5 The distance BETWEEN the projection point of the center of draw-bar
trailer eye on the horizontal plane AND the projection point of the center of the
left and right wheels of the first axle of draw-bar trailer on the horizontal plane
is not more than 3 mm.
3.1.6 The eye center of the drawbar frame of draw-bar trailer, the longitudinal
center of the turntable rack, and the longitudinal symmetric center plane of the
frame shall coincide. The deviation shall be ±1 mm.
3.1.7 When the draw-bar trailer combination is fully-loaded, and the speed is
not less than 90 km/h, the structure, configuration, and performance of the
draw-bar trailer shall meet the design and application requirements.
3.1.8 The mechanical coupling between trucks and draw-bar trailers and the
installation location of the electrical connector shall comply with the provisions
of ISO 11406 and GB/T 32861 respectively. The size and clearance space, etc.
shall be matched properly; the connection shall be reliable; the use shall be
safe.
3.1.9 In the product technical documentation of draw-bar trailers, it shall clarify
the main technical parameters of the adapted towing vehicle such as the key
dimensions and mass limits for the outline and connection, etc.
3.1.10 The draw-bar trailers carrying the exchangeable boxes shall be
equipped with locking mechanisms and lifting devices in accordance with GB/T
provisions of JT/T 886.
3.5.5 The installation and pasting of retro-reflective markings of draw-bar
trailers shall comply with the provisions of GB 23254 and GB 7258. The
installation of the rear-marking plates for vehicles shall comply with the
provisions of GB 25990 and GB 7258.
3.5.6 The lateral and rear underrun protection devices of draw-bar trailers shall
comply with the requirements of GB 11567.
3.5.7 The setting of licence plates (brackets) shall comply with the requirements
of GB 15741 and GB 7258.
3.5.8 The draw-bar trailers shall be equipped with spare tires. The spare tire
shall be reliably fixed and easy to handle.
