Technical specification of agricultural tires
1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, marking
and packaging of agricultural tyres.
This standard applies to new pneumatic tyres (including covers and flaps) for
agricultural and forestry tractors and machinery.
2 Normative references
The following documents are essential to the application of this document. For the dated
referenced documents, only the versions with the indicated dates are applicable to this
document; for the undated referenced documents, only the latest version (including all
the amendments) is applicable to this document.

5 Test methods
5.1 The overall diameter and section width of the tyre after inflation shall be measured
according to GB/T 521.
5.2 The tensile strength and elongation at break of the tyre cover tread rubber shall be
sampled according to the provisions of GB/T 519, and tested with a type 2 cutter
according to GB/T 528.
5.3 The hardness of the tyre cover tread rubber shall be measured according to GB/T
531.
5.4 The wear volume of the tyre cover tread rubber shall be sampled according to GB/T
519 and tested according to GB/T 1689.
5.5 The adhesive strength of each component of the tyre cover shall be sampled
according to GB/T 519, and tested according to GB/T 532.
5.6 Tyres can be tested for traction performance according to GB/T 14828.
5.7 Tires can be tested for wear performance according to HG/T 2444.
5.8 Agricultural radial tyres shall be tested for endurance according to GB/T 34823.
6 Marking and packaging
6.1 Marking
6.1.1 There shall be marks of items a) ~ h) on the sidewall of each tyre cover; if it is a
tubeless tyre, it shall also have the mark of item i); each flap shall have the marks of
item a), b), and g):
a) size designation;
b) trademark, manufacturer's name, or place of origin;
c) speed symbol or maximum speed, inflation pressure, ply rating, or load index
or load capacity;
d) tyre driving direction mark (the tread pattern of the tyre cover has the driving
direction);
